Early after breakfast we will drive to Tarangire National Park, and enjoy a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch.
The park consists of natural vegetation mainly Acacia woodland and giant African Baobab trees, with huge swamp areas in the south. Both the river and the swamps act like a magnet for wild animals, during Tanzania’s dry season. The Tarangire National Park is reputed to contain some of the largest elephant herds in Africa.

This African National Park is also home to three rare species of animals – the Greater Kudu, the Fringed-eared Oryx, as well as a few Ashy Starlings.

Dinner and overnight at Karatu near Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Day 2: Karatu – Ngorongoro Crater –

After an early morning breakfast, we will hurry to Ngorongoro Crater, as it is the best time to spot animals. On this day, you will enjoy a game drive around the crater and stop for a picnic lunch at a small lake within the park. The lake is home to many hippos and migratory birds, so be sure to enjoy the visit! Due to the animal “oasis” created within the crater, there is a high possibility of spotting every member of ‘The Big 5’. The group comprises some of the strongest animals in Africa – the ferocious lion, the giant elephant, the stealthy leopard, the charging rhino, and the mighty water buffalo. Ngorongoro Crater is truly an amazing place. Did you know it was formed over two million years ago? A large volcano collapsed and left a perfectly unbroken Caldera known as a crater. Within the amazing crater you can expect to view the playful zebra, lumbering hippo, swift wildebeest, and cackling hyenas. In addition, there are flocks of graceful flamingos along the Soda Lake, while hungry hawks and vultures circle the sky in search of their next meal of discarded carcasses. Beautiful storks, ibis, and cranes are popular water birds in the crater, a sight not to miss. After a lovely day of animal sightings, we will drive to the hotel near Lake Eyasi

Day 3: LAKE EYASI – ARUSHA

After breakfast, you will embark on your journey to Lake Eyasi for an amazing visit with the Hadzabe (The Bushmens). You will have a chance to go hunting with the bushmen, study their daily life, and get the chance to explore Lake Eyasi and its amazing views.

Lake Eyasi is located on the floor of the Great Rift Valley at the base of the Serengeti Plateau, just south of the Serengeti National Park. After this tour, we will drive back to Arusha Town

Day 4: Arusha Town – Arusha National Park

After breakfast we depart for Arusha National Park, you will have a picnic lunch and a game drive in the Park. The park is at the base of Mount Meru, which is good for climbing. It has a range of habitats including forest – home to the black-and-white colobus monkey – and is excellent for birding. Several lakes often host flocks of flamingos. The park’s appeal is mainly its scenery. The habitat diversity spans from montane (mountain) rainforest to moist savannah to alpine moorland. Post the game drive we will drive to Moshi for dinner and overnight
